International Educational Experience
All International Business Majors are required to participate in an approved international educational experience. Examples of approved experiences include the following:

- Successful completion of an internship abroad
- Successful participation in a semester-long or summer exchange program (minimum of 4 weeks)

Practicum
All International Business majors are required to complete a practicum experience to prepare for their careers. Beginning in Fall 2023, this experience can be fulfilled in one of several ways, such as participation in an approved international internship, approved work or volunteer experience, approved consulting experience, or an approved career training program. Students not pursuing an internship for credit will register for the below 0-credit pass/fail course to complete this requirement. Approval is given by the director of IB. May be completed abroad.
