International Students Admission
Application Requirements
Undergraduate students are accepted each semester, except for limited access and selective access programs. Deadlines for applications and supporting documents may be found online. To be considered for admission, applicants must submit all required documents by the posted deadline.
Getting credentials and transcripts evaluated takes a considerable amount of time. In addition, sending or receiving official application materials can often take a very long time. Therefore, applicants should complete their applications as far ahead of the deadline as possible.
- Application Forms: International students must complete and submit an .
- Application Fee: The application fee is $30. The application fee must be in U.S. currency only (check or money order) drawn from a U.S. bank.
- Academic Records and Credentials Evaluation: 海角社区will accept select international transcripts without a foreign evaluation as outlined below. All other international transcripts will require a course-by-course evaluation (post-secondary) or a document-by-document and GPA calculation evaluation (high school) by an approved third-party credential evaluation agency as outlined by the or (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services).
- 海角社区does not require foreign high school evaluations. You will need to submit a copy of your high school transcript for evaluation by UNF. If your high school transcript is not in English, please have it translated to English by a translation service first. You will then need to provide a copy of the original transcript and the translated version.
- 海角社区will accept international post-secondary coursework without a foreign evaluation for programs within the 海角社区colleges that have articulated agreements on record.
- 海角社区will accept international post-secondary coursework without a foreign evaluation on transcripts that are written in English from institutions accredited by an acceptable institutional accreditor, provided that a clearly defined grading scale and credit-hour conversion is notated on the official transcript.
- All other international post-secondary transcripts will require a or .
- CLT, SAT and ACT Test Scores: All lower-level transfer and freshman applicants must submit official test scores from the SAT Reasoning Test, Redesigned SAT, Classing Learning Test (CLT), or the ACT (American College Test).
- English Proficiency: All applicants, except those from countries where English is the only official language, are required to furnish satisfactory evidence of English competency. Most applicants to the University take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). However, there are other proofs of English competency that may be used. In addition to meeting the academic requirements for admission, students planning to attend 海角社区on an international student visa (F-1) or an exchange student visa (J-1) must also satisfy immigration, health, and financial requirements as described in the All Students section of this catalog.
