Poster Guidelines
- The O.U.R. offers poster printing services to all 海角社区students.
- Students/group prints should pay for and submit their poster at least 2-3 business days before the print is needed. The O.U.R. does not print on weekends or Mondays, so please keep that in mind when submitting.
- Appropriate file formats include PDF and PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx, or .pdf). Alternative file types will not be accepted.
- Ensure your poster is sized to the appropriate dimensions before submitting it to be printed. The O.U.R. will not resize your poster for you.
- While we can accommodate larger prints, poster height cannot exceed 42" inches (limit determined by the size of the paper). However, it is possible to print a wider poster – up to 60".
- A standard poster is 4’ x 3’ (48” wide by 36” high).
IMPORTANT: THE O.U.R WILL NOT BE PRINTING POSTERS FROM DECEMBER 19 TO JANUARY 6.
Poster Cost
- Read the instructions on the payment portal very carefully.
- The O.U.R. offers the following preset poster size options and prices:
- 24 x 36 $20.00
- 36 x 48 $25.00
- 42 x 56 $30.00
- 42 x 60 $35.00
- If your poster is sized to one of the above dimensions, select the 'Standard Poster Printing' storefront option on the payment portal.
- If your poster is sized outside of the four listed dimensions, select the 'Custom Poster Printing' storefront option on the payment portal.
IMPORTANT: THE O.U.R WILL NOT BE PRINTING POSTERS FROM DECEMBER 19 TO JANUARY 6.
Accepted Payments
- We accept credit card payments and journal transfers.
- Contact your home department for more information regarding paying via a journal transfer in Workday.

How to Submit a Poster for Printing
- Carefully follow all instructions on the payment website.
- The OUR offers the following preset poster size options and prices:
- 24 x 36 $20.00
- 36 x 48 $25.00
- 42 x 56 $30.00
- 42 x 60 $35.00
- If your poster is sized to one of the above dimensions, select the 'Standard Poster Printing' storefront option on the payment portal.
- If your poster is sized outside of the above dimensions, select the 'Custom Poster Printing' storefront option on the payment portal.
- After you pay, submit your poster to the O.U.R. by completing the (海角社区email).
- Your poster will be ready 2-3 business days after it was submitted to the O.U.R.
- Pick up your poster in Building 1 (J.J. Daniel Hall), Suite 1501 (Undergraduate Research). Your poster will be rolled up, labeled, and available from the poster storage unit just inside the door.

Class/Group Printing
The O.U.R. offers poster printing services for classes and group events. Individuals who would like the O.U.R. to print posters for their classes or events should complete the at the beginning of the academic semester to schedule their printing reservation.

If you need inspiration to create your poster, we have a Student Poster Example Gallery avaliable to view during our consultations. These examples can be used as a reference for students who are presenting research and creative projects at academic conferences. O.U.R. staff are also available to assist with poster design by appointment.
Poster Template Gallery
Please download the file onto your OneDrive/computer and rename the file prior to editing. Keep in mind any edits on originals will be visible to any future visitors, so it is important that you correctly follow these directions.
