To improve payment security and stay ahead of industry compliance requirements, 海角社区is mandating that all payments taken in-person be acquired through a P2PE-validated device. P2PE stands for "Point to Point Encryption", a method for secure payment card acquisition which greatly reduces compliance burdens. This applies to any 海角社区department or entity, as well as vendors operating on our network.
Additionally, 海角社区computers may not be used to enter or accept payments via keyboard entry or card swipe unless equipped with a P2PE-validated USB pin pad or card reader. This applies to cards handled in-person or relayed over the phone or paper order form; e-mail is not an acceptable method for transmission of credit card information.
