Life-threatening Emergencies
Call 911
Examples of life-threatening emergencies:
- Car accident
- Criminal activity
- Missing persons
- Active shooter
- Suicidal thoughts or Homicidal thoughts
- Natural disasters (hurricane, storm, tornado, flood, etc.)
- Sexual assault
- Other violence
Immigration-related Emergencies
Between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, call IC at
Outside of regular office hours, call 海角社区Police Department at
Examples of immigration-related emergencies:
- Detainment at US port of entry
- Immediate threat of deportation
Non-emergencies
Examples of non-emergency needs for assistance:
- Culture shock
- Stress
- Conflicts with classmates or professors
- Financial problems
- Scams
- Identity Theft
