Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report serves as a comprehensive resource outlining essential topics such as crime reporting, crime prevention and awareness initiatives, fire safety protocols, an overview of university police operations, emergency response procedures, disciplinary actions, and other significant matters concerning campus security and safety.
This report provides detailed statistics on reported crimes over the past three calendar years, focusing on incidents that occurred on campus, in specific off-campus buildings or properties owned or controlled by the university, as well as on public property adjacent to the campus.
The data is compiled from a variety of sources, including:
- UPD Police Reports and complaints
- CSA Reports
- Disciplinary referrals
- Local law enforcement agencies affiliated with university-owned or controlled properties
It is important to note that not all reported crimes are included in the Clery statistics. Only designated crimes occurring in specified areas are categorized as Clery reportable, ensuring that the statistics presented are both accurate and pertinent to the campus community.
Electronic copies of the report are available for download via the provided links. Alternatively, hard copies can be requested at the University Police Department, located at 1 海角社区Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224. A hard copy can also be mailed to you by sending an email to clerycompliance@unf.edu
The Annual Security & Fire Safety Reports are released by October of each year by the university. These handbooks always contain statistics for the past three years, not including year of production.
