Workers' Compensation
As of January 1, 2014, AmeriSys, has assumed responsibility for handling workers' compensation claims for the 海角社区. All work-related injuries and illnesses must be reported to AmeriSys regardless of the need for medical treatment. Employees contacting AmeriSys will speak directly with a triage nurse employed by the Medical Case Management Provider (AmeriSys) who will complete the First Report of Injury or Illness Form and direct the employee to the nearest medical facility to seek treatment, if necessary. If the employee is unavailable to contact AmeriSys, the employee's supervisor should contact AmeriSys on behalf of the injured or ill employee. Please note, UNF's location code is 0262. AmeriSys is available 24/7/365.
- AmeriSys will provide copies of all doctor's notes directly to the Office of Human Resources.
- The Office of Human Resources will work with the department and injured employee in the event the injury prevents the employee from returning to work, or causes specific functional limitations.

Injury requiring immediate, emergency medical treatment:
In the event of a medical emergency, transport the injured employee to the nearest medical facility or call campus police for assistance. The injured employee's supervisor must contact AmeriSys at
Injury requiring non-emergency medical treatment:
In the event that an injury does not constitute a medical emergency but does require some degree of medical treatment, the injured employee must immediately notify their supervisor and then contact AmeriSys at
Injury requiring no medical treatment:
In the event of an injury that does not require any medical treatment, the injured employee must immediately notify their supervisor and then contact AmeriSys at
