Universities and Admission

Admissions Process

Each GlobalMBA institution selects a maximum of 10 students per year to participate in the GlobalMBA program, and each institution conducts its own selection process. Students from North, Central, or South America should apply through the 海角社区; students from Europe or Africa should contact TH Koeln or the University of Warsaw; and students from Asia, Oceania, or other regions may choose among the three universities below.

United States: 海角社区

海角社区 is a mid-sized public university (approximately 17,000 students) with five academic colleges, one of which is the Coggin College of Business. 海角社区is housed on 1,300 acres that include a nature and wildlife area with lakes and trails. Plus, 海角社区has a great location - 7 miles from the beach and 12 miles from downtown Jacksonville.  Any North, Central, or South American students interested in applying for the GlobalMBA should do so through 海角社区by contacting Ms. Kate Mattingly Learch at the email address below.

Jacksonville, Florida, USA

Jacksonville is home to over one million people who enjoy a delightful year-round climate, with four seasons (without snow!). By car, Jacksonville is 2.5 hours from Orlando (Disney World) and 6 hours from Atlanta, Georgia. The Kennedy Space Center and Daytona Beaches are within an easy driving distance too. Jacksonville is a great location from which to explore the southeastern part of the United States.

The IBP's goal is to "familiarize students with the economic practice, customs and the financial structure of economic and financial systems in other countries." Warsaw is ideal if you want to enhance or expand your knowledge of international business in an exciting new European Union member nation.  Any European students interested in applying for the GlobalMBA should do so through UW by contacting Ms. Agata Król at the email address below.

Warsaw, Poland

Poland is situated in the heart of Europe sharing its western borders with Germany and the Czech Republic. Life in the capital city Warsaw is a typical urban experience - a never-ending list of diverse intellectual and cultural events. The capital's prime attraction is the Old Town, which is entered in the World List of Cultural and National Heritage of UNESCO. The Old Town Market Square, Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street, the Castle Square and the huge number of parks for walking or running are just a few of the ways to enjoy Warsaw.

Germany: TH Koeln

Technische Hochschule Köln: Technology Arts Sciences (THK) was founded in 1971 and is well-recognized by German employers for its department of Business Administration and Management. Cologne, Germany

Köln (spelled Cologne in English) is an interesting and lively city, the fourth largest in Germany. This cosmopolitan city is home to more than a million inhabitants. Köln has a university town feeling with about 80,000 students, too. Just about everywhere you can see examples of the cultural and historical treasures from the city's 2,000 year history. For example, the city's most famous landmark is the Köln Cathedral with two spires over 157 meters high. The view from the top is worth the climb. Köln provides accessible transportation within the city, country and throughout Europe with more than 1,200 train arrivals per day in its main railway station. Modern high-speed trains link Köln with London, Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Berlin at hourly intervals.
