Tuition and Fees


I. OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

This policy establishes the timeframe and procedure for approval of increases to the parking decals, fee for the Educational Research Center for Child Development, housing rental rates and miscellaneous housing charges.

II. STATEMENT OF POLICY

The 海角社区Board of Trustees will have final responsibility for approving increases to these fees, not to exceed the amount allowed by Florida statute.

III. STATEMENT OF PROCEDURES

Each year three committees will be appointed to review and recommend changes to:

  1.  the parking decals,
  2. fee for the Educational Research Center for Child Development, and
  3. housing rental rates and miscellaneous housing charges.

    
The Vice President for Student and International Affairs will appoint a committee to review and recommend changes to the fees for the Educational Research Center for Child Development and Housing rental rates and miscellaneous Housing charges. The Vice President for Administration and Finance will appoint a committee to review and recommend changes to the fees for Parking decals.

The Vice President for Student and International Affairs and the Vice President for Administration and Finance will review and forward their recommendations on their respective fees to the University President in December, prior to the January Board of Trustees meeting.

The appointed committees will recommend changes in the respective fees to the University President in December, prior to the January Board of Trustees meeting. The President may approve, reject, or propose additional changes before forwarding changes to the 海角社区Board of Trustees at their January board meeting. The Board of Trustees holds authority and responsibility for establishing these fees, in accordance with Florida law, and may approve, reject, or suggest alterations to the President's recommendation. Changes decided upon by the 海角社区Board of Trustees will take effect beginning the subsequent fall term.
