海角社区students helping students in need with food, clothing and supplies
As the spring semester kicks off, the 海角社区’s Student Government agency is calling on members of the community to ensure that all Osprey students have the necessities they need.
Founded in 2012 by 海角社区students for 海角社区students, the and is a Student Government executive agency designed to combat food insecurity on campus and assist with professional business clothing items for interviews or networking events. All items are provided anonymously and free of charge.
Lend-A-Wing saw over 9,500 student visits last year and distributed over 68,000 items.
Donations to the Lend-A-Wing pantry or Lend-A-Fit closet make a meaningful difference by turning care into action.
Support our students by contributing healthy and nutritious food items, personal hygiene products and school supplies to the pantry. Especially in need at this time are breakfast bars, oatmeal, cereals, canned protein (tuna, chicken, spam, beans), microwavable meals (ramen, mac and cheese cups, soups) and personal hygiene items of any type.
Lend-A-Fit is seeking donations of business professional and business casual attire including dress shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, dresses, blazers, shoes and accessories.
Donations can be made Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. in the John A. Delaney Student Union, Building 58E, Room 1204. A student leader will assist with receiving the items.
