Electives

Electives

What are electives? Electives are courses that are outside of your major, minor, or general education requirements. Some majors require electives in order to reach the 120 credits needed to graduate, and some majors do not require electives. You can consult the Osprey Map for your major to see how many elective courses you need in your program of study.

Below are some examples of 1000- or 2000-level courses that could be considered electives. Course descriptions for each can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog.  Please note, this is not an inclusive list of all elective options.
